IN 1862 HERMAN SNELLEN, A DUTCH OPHTHALMOLOGIST, DEVISED HIS FAMILIAR EYE CHART FOR TESTING VISUAL ACUITY.

THEN 120 YEARS LATER, A GRAPHIC ARTIST CREATED A CLEVER VERSION OF THAT FAMOUS IMAGE TO REPRESENT PARTIAL EYESIGHT.

THIS 1982 DESIGN IS HEREBY OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE FOR REPRODUCTION BY ANYONE FOR ANY USE RELATED TO VISION LOSS.
