ABOUT TEN PERCENT OF THE WORLDWIDE POPULATION IS AFFECTED BY THIS BIRTH DEFECT. COLOR BLINDNESS IS ACTUALLY A VISION IMPAIRMENT FOR CORRECTLY RECEIVING HUES AND BRIGHTNESS FOR REDS AND GREENS, HOWEVER, THIS VISION LOSS IS UNCOMMON FOR BLUES AND SEEING ONLY BLACKS AND WHITES IS VERY RARE.
